YWA’s 2016 Summer Show was the third curated exhibition of work produced by senior and junior students from our local schools, colleges, academies and art clubs.
This year’s show displayed an outstanding and truly eclectic mix of two and three dimensional applications. The work not only showed the skills that are being nurtured within our local teaching establishments, it also highlights the unique and amazing individual artistic talent of today’s young wimbledon artists.
YWA’s award scheme is designed to promote all Young Wimbledon Artists. It offers schools, colleges and academies in Merton, local young artists and groups of young artists who live in the borough a platform to have their work exhibited in the Norman Plastow Gallery.
